The Western Abzu

For most of us, religious education stopped in childhood. Since then our education has been secular. We know about evolution, we know about physics, and we no longer believe in ghosts. But is there more to our Judeo—Christian tradition than Sunday School? And why do people of faith fear science?

The Western Abzu may be able to stitch up this wound in our culture.

I believe that The Living God is inside of and a part of the physical world. To understand how this could be, I will introduce the Doctrine of Frames and Mediation as a new way to talk about the origins of the universe, science, the nature of man, the God of the Bible, and the ethical responsibilities of adults, including politics and economics.
